Chart of estimated monthly organic traffic for a gynaecology clinic, July 2022 to February 2025

Gynaecology Clinic: From 6 to 1,458 Monthly Organic Visits

Client: Gynaecology clinic (anonymous)  |  Services: Content, technical SEO, link building  |  Result: Organic traffic up from 6 to 1,458 visits a month, and top-10 keywords up from 3 to 1,191

A specialist gynaecology clinic partnered with Technical Content Links in July 2022, through one of our agency partners. The clinic offers a wide range of women’s health services, including a pelvic floor treatment using the Emsella chair, but almost nobody was finding it through Google.

At a glance

  • Industry: Healthcare, specialist gynaecology
  • Engagement: White label SEO, July 2022 to February 2025
  • Starting point (July 2022): about 6 organic visits a month and 3 keywords in Google’s top 10
  • Results (February 2025): 1,458 organic visits a month and 1,191 keywords in the top 10, 768 of them in the top five

The challenge

Patients research women’s health questions carefully, and they want answers from a specialist they can trust. The clinic’s site had little content answering those questions, technical issues with headings, internal links and indexing, and almost no authority to compete with larger practices and health publishers.

Our approach

The big-ticket items first.

  • Title, meta description and heading optimisation, and fixes to broken and insecure internal links
  • FAQ keyword research, then FAQ content written into key service pages such as contraception and hysteroscopy
  • An internal linking audit, a schema audit, and FAQ and Person schema to highlight the specialist behind the clinic
  • A technical audit, noindex directives, an XML sitemap clean-up and a new HTML sitemap
  • Search Console audits, indexing requests, and a dedicated campaign review when rankings dipped in early 2023
  • Competitor blog and keyword analysis to plan the content program

Then consistency. Month after month the campaign added directory links, guest post links (first to the Emsella chair treatment page, then to the homepage for the clinic’s core gynaecologist searches) and new blog content, along with updates to existing articles. Six-monthly reviews and technical audits kept it on track.

The results

This campaign is a good example of SEO compounding. Progress was slow for the first 18 months, then the work built on itself:

  • 2023: an average of 32 organic visits a month
  • 2024: 411 a month on average, climbing to 1,062 by December
  • February 2025: 1,458 visits a month

Rankings followed the same curve. Keywords in Google’s top 10 grew from 3 to 1,191, with 768 in the top five. The site has kept building on that foundation since.

Traffic and ranking figures are estimates from SE Ranking (Australian search database).

What this means for agencies

Healthcare clients often expect results in weeks. This campaign shows why it pays to keep going: the groundwork laid in the first year is what made the second year’s growth possible. We deliver it white label, so your agency keeps the client relationship.
